Dude, this is awesome! It works so well! Just another example of how similar the 2 genres can be. Country and Metal are like long lost cousins who meet each other at a family reunion, strike up a conversation, and discover they've got a lot in common.

As a metal head that is in a folk/country band, I appreciate this.

Since I was a teen (in the 70s) I always loved the acoustic shred of Bluegrass. Tony Rice blew me away as much in the 90's as Friedman and Becker. More Shred fans should give a listen to Blackberry Blossom or Cherokee Shuffle or similar songs, I find the guitar only versions to be exactly what Classical guitar draws me to. And before any Shredder discounts county pickers, watch Roy Clark play Malaguena.
